Many people believe obesity in children is due to bad nutrition and this is partly to blame but even the most well balanced diet can lead to an obese children  if they are  not burning off the calories they take in each day.

OK folks, I’ve been blogging for a long time now and although I have lost weight, it’s time to get more serious, more motivated and lose more pounds!

I’ve made a lot of changes to my diet, cutting back on sugar and fat, exercising more and controlling my portions. The thing is, I have slipped back into bad habits far too often and it’s time for me to make the biggest change so far in my weight loss saga! Read more »

Current obesity levels range from below 5% in China, Japan and     certain African nations, to over 75% in urban Samoa. But even in relatively low prevalence countries like China, rates are almost 20% in some cities. Childhood obesity is already epidemic in some areas and on the rise in others.
